Temporary Administrative Assistant (3-Month Assignment)

Location: Frederick, MD-(ON SITE)

Pay: $20-$23/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

Job Type: Temporary (Approximately 3 Months)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide support to a busy department during a short-term coverage assignment. This role is ideal for someone with office experience who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple tasks, and providing administrative support in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Assist with filing, document management, and office organization
  • Enter and update information in company systems
  • Support department staff with day-to-day administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
